You can also choose to upgrade for VIP seating and additional Medieval Times swag, but we thought our basic ticket was a tremendous value and included everything we needed to enjoy the experience. After 90+ minutes of non stop action, amazing food, and super cool effects, the kids were in awe. The design of the arena if very family friendly and easy to navigate.Īs you can see, the fun carried out into the parking lot. The nice part is if you do have a child who gets antsy, you can easily slip out to the waiting area and look around. ![]() He was really into the action sequences and never left his seat for the duration of the show. Medieval Times takes great care in crafting a storyline that goes along with the show, so you do stay engaged for over 90 minutes of action and entertainment.Īs you can see, our little guy thought this was the best part. This included some amazing sword fighting that the kids just loved. The show continued with a fight event between several of the knights. Dinner is a half of a roasted chicken (yes, half!) a seasoned potato, tomato soup, seasoned bread, corn on the cob, and lemon cake for dessert. You get your choice of lemonade or soda, or can opt for a cocktail for an additional charge if you wish. Don’t worry, they take great care in making sure it is finger friendly food. Our server brought out dinner which is intended to be eaten with your hands only. The kids loved cheering for their knight while in the meantime, I loved that dinner was about to be served. The knights rode out while the story open and unfolded, and soon they began to engage in various games of skill. The lighting and other special effects as well as the gorgeous horses, costumes, and characters make this show so visually appealing. Right away you will notice that Medieval Times knows how to put on a show. Your server will introduce herself (she is in costume and in character of course) and you wait for the show to begin! Once it does, you are seated in cozy theatre seats and have your place setting and menu waiting for you. There is plenty to do and see while you wait for the arena to open. There is a cash bar, souvenirs (the kids had to have light up swords) and a museum you can go take a peek at for a nominal fee. You then enter a waiting lobby where you will wait for the show to begin. By this time, not only were the kids pumped, but the dads were too. ![]() This is the crown that shows the colors of the knight you will be cheering for in the dinner show. ![]() Once you get your tickets, and your family photo, you are off to pick up your designated color crown. The check in process is smooth and quick, so you spend little time waiting in line. You can’t help but notice the large castle as you approach, where costumed hosts are waiting at the entrance to check you in.
